This award winning kitchen was entered by Rachel Martin. The centre piece of this kitchen is the curved island unit where meals can be prepared, which includes a set in white pine chopping block and small sink. The breakfast bar curves around into the living area incorporating bar stools in front of a bi folding window, for indoor-outdoor entertainment.

The judge's decision was unanimous. The project fulfilled all aspects of the judging criteria, with workmanship, skill complexity of the project, visual appearance and use of materials all rating highly.
